Diversity helps foster an environment of inclusivity and ensures that different viewpoints are respected and heard. CoreCivic's Board of Directors, including the women who hold seats on the board, celebrate and embrace that diversity.

Currently, 27 percent of CoreCivic's board seats are held by women. Donna M. Alvarado, Stacia Hylton, and Anne L. Mariucci each hold a seat on the 11-member board, which has resulted in the company being recognized as a 3+ Company by 50/50 Women on Boards for five consecutive years. CoreCivic is one of just 19 companies in the state of Tennessee that has a 3+ or better rating. In addition to CoreCivic's Board of Directors, women hold approximately 51 percent of positions companywide.

Since 2010, 50/50 Women on Boards (formerly 2020 Women on Boards) has worked to educate, advocate and collaborate with corporations committed to advancing and expanding the presence of women on corporate boards.

This Women's History Month, CoreCivic salutes women leaders everywhere and proudly supports increased diversity and inclusion within our organization, our nation and around the world.
