Secunderabad, February 17, 2013: 'World CSR congress', a forum consists of CSR Associates, CEOs, Sustainability Experts, Leaders and Media honchos across the globe, has awarded three CSR awards to Coromandel International Limited, India's leading manufacturer of a wide range of fertilizers, crop protection products, specialty nutrient products, organic manure and a key player in retail business, on Sunday, the 17th Feb 2013 in Mumbai. Coromandel International Limited has been awarded in Green Business, Sustainable Business practices and Best Rural outreach categories during the 'Global Sustainability conference' organized by the World CSR congress. The Green Business award was in recognition of the efforts undertaken by the company through its retail outlets in promotion of organic manures, where as the Sustainable Business Practices Award was presented for promoting INM, IPM and other sustainable agricultural practices through the retail operations. The Best Rural Outreach award was given for the services rendered by the company through its retail outlets. These awards are being endorsed by Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). Coromandel International Limited has applied for three award categories and walked away with all of them.
