NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Cosan S.A. ("Cosan" or "Company") (B3: CSAN3), in response to the official letter no. 1083/2020-SLSreceived on December 7, 2020, from the Listing Superintendence and Issuer Supervision of B3 - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão ("B3"), with the following content:
"In light of the recent variations observed in the company's stock, number of trades and amount traded, as detailed below, we hereby request the company to inform, by 12/08/2020, if there is any event of their knowledge to justify such variations.

Hereby clarifies to its shareholders and the market that:
On November 27, 2020, the Company published a Material Fact informing that the proposal of its subsidiary, Compass Gás e Energia S.A., was not qualified for the divestment process of 51% of Petrobras Gás S.A. - Gaspetro by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras; and
On December 4, 2020, the Company published a Material Fact informing the amount of the exchange ratio determined by the independent committees of the companies involved in the merger of Cosan Limited and Cosan Logística S.A. into the Company.
The Company understands that the Material Facts stated above explain the variation period mentioned by B3.
The Company values transparency and will keep its shareholders and the market in general informed, in compliance with the Law and the applicable regulations.
