Costco Wholesale Corp.'s board of directors has reauthorized a stock repurchase program of up to $4 billion.

The company said Thursday that the program will expire in January 2027.

The new authorization replaces its current $4 billion program, under which the company has purchased roughly $1.4 billion worth of stock.
