Costco aims to have 28 more warehouse units in place this year, and has expanded the merchants inventory for online shoppers.

The wholesaler expects to have all its warehouse inventory, as well as Instarcart inventory, online by the end of March and has expanded its suppliers to 37 on its online platform called Costco Next. There are now approximately 1,000 curated items, according to the company's latest earnings call.

The company's e-commerce sales increased 12.6% year over year, and strong sales were seen in jewelry, tires, special items, patio and garden as well as home furnishings.
