National Center for Public Policy Research Submits a Shareholder Proposal to Costco Wholesale Corporation

On January 17, 2025, National Center for Public Policy Research filed an exempt solicitation statement soliciting proxies and urged the shareholders of Costco Wholesale Corporation to vote for its shareholder proposal, asking the Company to ?conduct an evaluation and publish a report on the risks of the Company maintaining its current DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) roles, policies, and goals? at the Company?s annual shareholders meeting.
Costco Wholesale Corporation specializes in the distribution of products and services at discount prices (food, sports equipment, household appliances, books, toys, jewelry, TVs, cameras, photo developing and printing services, etc.).
