APPOINTMENT OF JOINT COMPANY SECRETARY

The board of directors (the "Board") of Country Garden Holdings Company Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. LUO Jie ("Mr. LUO") has been appointed as a joint company secretary of the Company with effect from 18 March 2019. Following the appointment of Mr. LUO, Mr. LEUNG Chong Shun, the existing company secretary, will act as the other joint company secretary of the Company.

Mr. LUO, aged 39, graduated from the Sun Yat-sen University (中山大學) in June 2002 where he was awarded a bachelor of Laws degree. He graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008 where he was awarded a Juris Doctor degree, and obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from the University of Hong Kong in 2009. Mr. LUO passed the National Judicial Examination of the PRC in 2005 and obtained the Legal Profession Qualification Certificate. He is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong since 2011. He joined the Company in May 2017 and was appointed as deputy company secretary in December 2017.

The Board would like to extend its welcome to Mr. LUO for his new appointment.

The non-executive director of the Company is Mr. CHEN Chong. The independent non-executive directors of the Company are Mr. LAI Ming, Joseph, Mr. SHEK Lai Him, Abraham, Mr. TONG Wui Tung, Mr. HUANG Hongyan and Mr. YEUNG Kwok On.
