Coursera announced a new engineering office in Toronto, Ontario. The new office will be staffed with engineers to accelerate innovation for the company’s enterprise and partner products, and to support other business initiatives over time.
Coursera, Inc. provides an online learning platform that connects learners, educators, and institutions, providing educational content that is accessible and relevant. The Company's segments include Consumer, Enterprise, and Degrees. The Company provides a range of learning content and credentials, including Clips, Guided Projects, Specializations, courses, and certificates that can build towards a broader course of study such as a degree or postgraduate diploma. It offers a portfolio of entry-level Professional Certificates from Google, IBM, Intuit, Meta, Microsoft, and Salesforce that help develop the skills needed to land entry-level digital jobs in information technology, cybersecurity, data science, marketing, sales, design, and software engineering and development without requiring a college degree or any experience in the field.
