2Q13 result only reflected investment in Makro on balance  sheet but NOT on statement of income 
As of June 30, 2013, CPALL recorded investment in Makro of  67.15%; thus, assets were increased from Baht 73,445 million in  1Q13 to Baht 232,953 million in 2Q13. As of August 5, 2013 which  was the last tender offer date, CPALL totally obtained Makro  shares of 97.88%. On 3Q13 onwards, CPALL will consolidate the  performance of Makro in such portion.
For CPALL operation, in 2Q13, due to change in accounting  record of phone card sales to service income, total revenue was  increased only 12.4% yoy but revenue exclude phone card was  increased by 15.9% from new stores opening of 8.3% and SSS  growth of 7.6%. SSS growth was partly impacted by seasonally  heavy rainfall.
