NEW YORK, Nov. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C., a nationally recognized stockholder law firm, has launched an investigation into whether the board members of Craft Brew Alliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: BREW) breached their fiduciary duties or violated the federal securities laws in connection with the company's proposed sale to Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV.

On November 11, 2019, Craft Brew announced that it had signed an agreement to be acquired by Anheuser-Busch for $16.50 per share in cash, or a total of about $321 million. The deal is scheduled to close in 2020.

Bragar Eagel & Squire is concerned that Craft Brew's board of directors oversaw an unfair process and ultimately agreed to an inadequate deal price. Indeed, Craft Brew's shares have recently traded for well above the $16.50 deal price. Accordingly, the firm is investigating all relevant aspects of the deal and is committed to securing the best result possible for Craft Brew stockholders.
