Crédit Agricole: acquires Merca Leasing

Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring (CAL&F) yesterday completed the acquisition of 100% of Merca Leasing, having obtained all the necessary approvals from BaFin and the German Competition Authority.

This transaction will accelerate the company's growth in the particularly dynamic leasing market in Germany. Merca Leasing is one of the top 10 independent leasing companies in Germany.

With the acquisition of Merca Leasing, Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring is strengthening its expertise and service offering, particularly in Mobility, and expanding its footprint in the highly fragmented German market, which is a priority in its business development strategy, it said.
