French asset manager Amundi has appointed Valerie Baudson as chief executive, replacing Yves Perrier effective May 10.

The asset manager, in which Credit Agricole SA holds a majority stake, said Mr. Perrier will become chairman of the board, having served as CEO for 14 years. In this position he will succeed current Chairman Xavier Musca, also effective at the next Amundi general meeting on May 10.

The change in governance has received the full support of Credit Agricole, Mr. Musca said.
