Credit Suisse has announced that it has made changes to its Asia Pacific investment banking team. The firm has announced that it has appointed a new head of mergers and acquisitions (MA) for Asia Pacific. The move comes as the firm is shuffling its investment banking team in the region. The firm said that Christian Deiss is to lead the bank's MA business and would replace Joe Gallagher in the role. Gallagher is to remain vice chair of investment banking and capital markets for Asia Pacific (APAC). The firm also said that Sanjeev Chaurasia would become the head of industrials and renewable investment banking coverage in APAC. Aaron Tan is to take over as co-head of energy and infrastructure banking for APAC while Christopher Chua is to become deputy head of MA for APAC.
