ZURICH (AP) _ Credit Suisse Group AG (CS) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $1.65 billion, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The bank, based in Zurich, said it had a loss of 62 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 13 cents per share.

The bank posted revenue of $5.11 billion in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $3.78 billion, which fell short of Street forecasts.
