Credem will have to meet an overall minimum capital requirement for the Cet1 ratio of 8.60 percent by 2025.

The regulatory ratio for next year, set by the ECB at the end of its annual supervisory review and assessment (Srep) process, includes a Pillar 2 requirement of 1 percent, a note from the Emilia-based group said.

At the end of September, the institution adds, Credem had a Cet1 at Credemholding level (supervisory perimeter) of 15.8 percent with a buffer against the Srep requirement "among the largest in the system" and amounting to 715 basis points.
