Recently, Public Transport Department of Victoria, Australia broadcasted a TV news titled "New high-tech trains put into operation in Melbourne" in Australia's famous TV network Channel 7, highly praising the HCMT metro trains delivered by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles (Australia), and indicating that this is the future of Melbourne's public transport.

The new HCMT trains that have been put into operation lately in Melbourne have a higher operating speed, and can cross the metro tunnel within several minutes. Furthermore, their capacity is over 20% larger than existing trains, with bigger space and more seats. In addition, the driver simulator supplied can simulate any situation of the road network, even including weather condition, and can be used in the HCMT operation training for over 1000 drivers each year. The Federation of Public Transport Users and local passengers speak highly of the train.

It is said that CRRC's project of 65 large-capacity HCMT trains represents the largest single order in the history of Victoria. As of now, over 1/3 of the project's trains have been successfully delivered and started operation. These high-quality, stably operating trains have become a beautiful scenery in the public transport of Victoria.
