Crunchfish launches new version of Digital Cash SDK
Programmable money means that it is possible to dedicate payments to predefined categories, such as meal benefits, healthcare benefits and grants. A sub-wallet is dedicated to the specific category of payments and is validated to ensure that debits are made from the correct sub-wallet.
The new Digital Cash SDK 2.6 is launched after India introduced DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), a program for transferring subsidies directly to people's bank accounts. By using programmable money, it is possible to ensure that, for example, a food benefit is assigned to an appropriate sub-wallet and used only for its intended purpose, Crunchfish writes.
Other highlights of Digital SDK 2.6 include support for iOS 18 and Android 15, improved security features and certification management, and improved application interfaces and documentation to simplify integration for customers.
