'Throughout our trajectory, we have developed sports, educational and social initiatives so that even more children, teenagers and adults can fulfill their own citizenship. For us, the greatest result is to offer better living conditions for people who face some kind of uncomfortable situation. Therefore, when we look at what we have achieved so far, so many stories of overcoming difficulties, the work carried out by the Institute is a source of great pride and satisfaction. Sport is much more than a competition, it is our life', summarizes the president of the Guga Kuerten Institute, Alice Kuerten.

In total, during 2020, ISA CTEEP invested R$ 19 million, with its own and incentivized resources, in 17 projects - including the Sports and Education Program Campeões da Vida - which will promote actions of socioeconomic and environmental development, in addition to actions to fight against Covid-19.

Other projects in Santa Catarina

The company is starting work on the Biguaçu Electric Interconnection (IE), which will boost the supply of electricity, as well as bring more reliability to the electrical system for the whole of the Greater Florianópolis area.

Besides the benefits that strengthen the regions's electrical system, the project will expand the economic, social and technological development of the State, in addition to attracting new projects to Santa Catarina, supporting the increase in loads resulting from the expansion of economic activities in the region.
