ISA CTEEP and Instituto Esporte e Educação announce free training for teachers in Piauí
More than 70 public school educators in the municipalities of São João do Piauí, Nova Santa Rita and Pedro Laurentino will benefit from a qualification program for sports practices

São Paulo, August 19, 2021 - ISA CTEEP, the largest private electricity transmission company in the country, is alongside the Instituto Esporte e Educação (IEE) in yet another important initiative to promote education and sports. Through the Network of Multipliers in Educational Sports Project, in partnership with the Municipal Governments and Education Departments of the municipalities of São João do Piauí, Nova Santa Rita and Pedro Laurentino, in Piauí, more than 70 education professionals from public schools in these cities will be trained free of charge, selected by the Education Department itself.

The training, which will start this Thursday (8/19) and will take place until May 2022, has five modules, which include seminars, games, concepts about the dimensions of sport, among others. Initially, it will be carried out through a distance learning platform (DL), due to the safety measures against Covid-19.

The Project seeks to democratize access to educational sports through an integrated training model for managers, coordinators, pedagogues and municipal school teachers, to qualify physical education and sport classes, favoring comprehensive education and quality of life. 'We reach people's homes every day, through our operations, and supporting initiatives like this one from the IEE has total synergy with our purpose of generating sustainable value for society', highlights Ana Carolina David, communication and sustainability manager at ISA CTEEP.
