LEXINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Curis Inc. (CRIS) on Tuesday reported a loss of $10.8 million in its second quarter.

The Lexington, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents per share.

The drug developer posted revenue of $2.3 million in the period.

Curis shares have decreased 15% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $6.99, increasing fivefold in the last 12 months.
