This year, Dah Sing Financial Holdings (DSFH) celebrated its 25th listing anniversary and celebrated with customers and business partners, by title-sponsoring the "DSFH 25th Listing Anniversary Cup".
The "DSFH 25th Listing Anniversary Cup" was held on 15th December 2013 at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Shatin Racecourse. Mr. David S.Y. Wong, Chairman of DSFG took the lead to unveil the event with other officiating guests, and joined all the honorable guests to celebrate the 25th listing anniversary of DSFH.
The guests most enjoyed the event and the exciting races of the day. There were ten races and Race 8, the "DSFH 25th Listing Anniversary Cup", was the climax of the day. Dah Sing Bank also sponsored Race 3, the "Dah Sing Bank Handicap" and Dah Sing Life sponsored Race 5, the "Dah Sing Life Handicap".
The "DSFH 25th Listing Anniversary Cup" was a tough race with keen riders. The winner of the "DSFH 25th Listing Anniversary Cup" was "Wayfoong Express". Mr. David S.Y. Wong, Chairman of DSFG, presented the cup to the owner of the winning horse.
Besides horse-racing, the event included various programmes like lucky draws and magic shows. Jose Antonio, an international award winning magician, was invited to perform magic on stage, bringing surprises to all the guests. The event ended with cheers and applause.
DSFG has achieved various important development milestones in the past few decades through acquisitions and vigorous expansion. The Group has 66 bank branches in China, Hong Kong and Macau, and has been expanding its life insurance
and general insurance business. The listing of the Group's shares on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong was a significant milestone that not only drove the Group's development over the past twenty-five years but also further enhanced its place in Hong Kong's financial markets. Nowadays, the Group's business extends through China, Hong Kong and Macau. Also, through innovation, we have become a market pioneer and received various awards, with market recognition and support from customers, staff and business partners.
