SIDOC confirms tungsten carbide ring annual supply
SIDOC - Siderúrgica Del Occidente Nuestro Acero has once again chosen Danieli Service for the supply of tungsten carbide rings for its fast-finishing block, in Colombia.
SIDOC has been ordering Danieli tungsten carbide rings from Danieli for the improvement of production quality and rolling process since 2020.
"We are very satisfied with the quality of the carbide rings supplied and installed in the finishing block and we confirm that their performance was very high. Quality / Price competitiveness was excellent, so much so that we made one purchase in 2020 and another one in 2021 as ring purchases are related to the annual continuous supply. We recommend Danieli for its punctuality and quality." claimed Julian Ruiz, Rolling Mill Production Coordinator at SIDOC.
Used for high-speed steel bar rolling, Danieli rings have superior impact and thermal-fatigue resistance; high wear-resistance is assured. Among other key features are resistance to oxidation, improved transversal rupture strength, as well as compression resistance. All this is achieved also thanks to an accurate percentage of binder according to the ring position inside the fast-finishing block.
