DANSKE BANK A/S Investment Restrictions

Danske Bank Group have implemented group-wide investment restrictions for companies involved in tar sands, thermal coal, peat-fired power generation and controversial weapons according to established criteria. In addition, Danske Invest have implemented investment restrictions for companies involved in tobacco and for companies and countries with Involvement in sustainability related controversies, practices, or other activities considered unacceptable in relation to Nordic norms and/or significant principal adverse impacts on sustainability factors.
The following criteria apply:
- Tar sands: More than 5% revenue from tar sands extraction
- Thermal coal: More than 5% revenue from thermal coal mining and/or thermal coal power generation
- Peat-firedpower generation: More than 5% revenue from peat-fired power generation
- Controversial weapons: Verified involvement in anti-personnel mines, cluster munitions, biological weapons, chemical weapons, nuclear weapons
- Tobacco: More than 5% revenue from tobacco products
- Norms: Involvement in sustainability related controversies, practices, or other activities considered unacceptable in relation to Nordic norms and/or significant principal adverse impacts on sustainability factors
