Save the date! As every year, Toulon (Var department, southeast France) hosts a Patrouille de France air show on August 15.

The love story between the Patrouille de France and the city of Toulon is one that has lasted throughout the ages. Every year, several thousand people gather downtown in the port city at the Mourillon district beaches (in the eastern part of the city) to attend the show on August 15, a public holiday in France. The show should start at around 4pm.

This year, in accordance with the sanitary regulations laid down by the public authorities, both young and old alike will be able to admire the Patrouille de France's Alpha jets (the product of a collaboration dating back to the 1980s between Dassault Aviation and the German aircraft manufacturer, Dornier) as they perform unbelievable aerobatic figures, sometimes hitting a speed of 800 kilometers per hour. At times the aircraft will only be spaced two meters apart.

Depending on the public health situation, various events may be offered to the public, such as the traditional fireworks display. The event has everything to delight the inhabitants of the city, aviation enthusiasts and tourists alike!
