Greece plans to buy six more Dassault Aviation SA's Rafale fighter jets, Florence Parly, France's minister of the armed forces, said Sunday.

"Greece has just announced its intention to acquire six additional Rafale. Together, we are moving forward to build true European autonomy," Ms. Parly said in a tweet.

Greece has already ordered 18 Rafales from French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation to equip its air force.
