Thursday 19th July: Deliveroo has expanded its food delivery services to campsites and caravan parks in ten key areas of the UK. This comes in response to a surge in popularity of camping summer holiday stay-cations from Brits writing off international travel amid everchanging government restrictions.

With 'stay-cation' the new vacation, Brits can find a range of grocery food items and essentials on the Deliveroo app from local supermarket and convenience partners, so campers can let their holiday relaxation mode kick in as soon as they arrive at their destination.

On Deliveroo, groceries are just a few clicks away making the on-demand delivery service perfect for topping up essentials from supermarkets including Sainsbury's, Co-op, Waitrose, Aldi and Morrisons. Whether people are out of baked beans for breakfast or down to the last toilet roll, Deliveroo can bring it to campsites and caravans in as little as 30 minutes. Campers can simply head to the app to see what's available in their area.

Alongside groceries, happy campers seeking a taste of the great outdoors can now also enjoy the taste of delicious worldwide cuisines from local restaurants, delivered direct to their tent, campervan or motorhome by one of Deliveroo's fleet of teal-clad riders.

There are over 140,000 restaurants on Deliveroo in the UK, offering cuisines from around the world so campers can travel with their taste buds on British soil. This means that after a long day of exploring and activities, campers can put their boots up and finish off the day with tea taken care of.

We want to bring our customers some joy by making their holiday stay-cation experience the best that it can be by giving them access to essential groceries on-demand and the chance to enjoy incredible food from their favourite restaurants, without having to stray far from their picturesque camping spot!'

To try out the service, campers should open the Deliveroo app and drop a delivery pin as close as possible to their temporary home location. Should campers wish to meet their rider at a specific meeting point, such as an entrance or exit to a campsite, they can add these details in the 'Instructions for your rider' section when adding the address to their account.

Here are just a few of the many campsites that Deliveroo will be delivering to this summer:

Eastbourne

Eastbourne tourists can now order camping and holiday groceries from retailers like Co-op, takeaway bites like Tacos from Taco Bell, or coffee from Costa Coffee whilst they relax in luxurious glamping tents at Bramley Park Camping.

Weymouth

In Weymouth, campers can order from a range of grocery stores like Co-op, BP and Morris

ons, along with food from favorite restaurants like KFC whilst making the most of the beautiful countryside at Higher Moor Farm Campsite.

Blackpool

Marton Mere Holiday Park in Blackpool is the perfect combination of seaside fun with stunning natural surroundings. Minutes away from Blackpool's iconic Pleasure Beach, campers at Marton Mere can find Co-op and Morrisons on Deliveroo plus local favourites like Jaspers Bistro and Wok Wow.

Margate

Minutes away from the super trendy coastal town of Margate on Kent's north coast lies Birchington Vale Holiday Park offering a range of camping accommodation to suit all budgets. Co-op, Morrisons and Aldi can deliver healthy groceries and Frankie & Bennys and Bella Italia are a few of the many restaurants available on Deliveroo.

Exmouth

Exmouth Country Lodge & Prattshayes Campsite guests will be able to get essentials delivered from Co-op along with delicious food from restaurants like Namaste Himalaya or Prezzo delivered straight to their tents, whilst they take in the beauty of the countryside.

Torquay

Deliveroo hasn't forgotten about their customers down in the South, the food delivery company will be delivering to tourists at campsites like Treacle Valley Campsite in Torquay. Holidaymakers can get mouth-watering meals like KFC delivered or get some grocery essentials from Co-op.

Portsmouth

Customers can order from a wide range of grocery stores in Portsmouth, with Waitrose, Co-op, Aldi and Morrisons on their fingertips. From burgers from Five Guys and pizza from Papa Johns, to seaside classics like Fish and Chips from Kingfisher, customers can also enjoy hot food delivered whilst watching breathtaking sea-views at Southsea Leisure Park.

Manchester

Hawthorne Caravan and Camping Campsite visitors will be able to avoid heading into the city centre by having groceries delivered from the likes of Aldi, Co-op and One Stop, straight to their pitch. Customers can also tuck into dishes from high street favourites like Pizza Hut, Subway and Five Guys, along with independent favourites like Cafe Jardin.

London

Brits that have chosen to take an urban campsite break on the outskirts of London at Abbey Wood Caravan Club Campsite can order their essential groceries from Sainsbury's, Co-op, Morrisons and many other convenience stores. High street restaurant favourites like Zizzi, Burger King, Pizza Express, Moreley's can also be delivered while enjoying a relaxing time away from the inner city.

Also just outside of the nation's capital, campers staying at Crystal Palace Caravan Club Campsite can have groceries delivered from Sainsbury's, Co-op and Aldi along with food from restaurants like Wagamama and treats from Krispy Kreme.

Glasgow

Situated in the Millcroft Wood of Cumbernauld, overlooking the Summerhill fields, Eden Leisure Village is situated just 20 minutes from Glasgow City Centre. Campers can wake up and order coffee straight to their tents from Costa Coffee or tuck into burgers from Burger King, Fish and Chips from Chippy Doon the Lane and more.
