Delta Thailand in Thaipat Institute's ESG100 Universe for Fourth Consecutive Year
Samutprakarn, Thailand, June 21, 2018 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited is one of 100 best-performing public listed companies in the Thaipat Institute's ESG100 Universe for the 4th consecutive year. Founded in 1999, Thaipat is a leading advocate in Thailand's corporate responsibility and sustainability movement. Delta is one of nine companies in the 2018 ESG100 Universe's technology sector recognized for outstanding performance in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
Since 2015, Thaipat Institute's Rating Unit has been compiling the ESG100 list based on the guiding principles of the Global Initiative for Sustainability Ratings (GISR). This year the Thaipat Institute assessed 683 companies public listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) from 39 industries. The 2018 assessment examined over 12,648 data units referenced to publicly available documents from six data sources. The 100 companies selected for outstanding sustainability performance on the ESG100 list are part of Thaipat's starting universe that will address the growing demand on sustainable investments in Thailand. This year's inclusion in the ESG100 list is yet another success for Delta's Sustainable Development Committee which includes Mr. Hsieh Shen-yen, Delta President, and Mr. Anusorn Muttaraid, Delta Executive Director.
