Derichebourg Environnement has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Volkswagen Group France, approved as an individual system for the management of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) since June 2024, to recycle ELVs.
Following the signing of contracts with over 500 ELV centers by the end of May 2025, this agreement enables the car manufacturer to sign contracts with 105 Derichebourg ELV centers, which will thus be integrated into its individual system currently being set up.
Derichebourg Environnement's approved ELV centers will be able to support Volkswagen Group France in achieving its regulatory targets for the production of parts from the circular economy (PIEC) by 2028.
The agreement will also enable Volkswagen Group France to rely on France's leading producer of recycled materials for various studies and to open discussions on the supply of recycled metals and plastics to the German group's factories.
