DHL eCommerce UK said it will merge with U.K's parcel delivery company Evri.
The German logistics group on Wednesday said that as part of the transaction it will acquire a significant minority stake in the combined new Evri group with multiple options to strengthen ties. Financial details weren't disclosed.
The merged business is poised to deliver more than 1 billion parcels and a further 1 billion business letters annually, DHL said.
Evri will retain its core branding and is set to operate under Evri Premium, a network of DHL eCommerce, it said.
