HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ DHT Holdings Inc. (DHT) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $21 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 15 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 13 cents per share.

The independent oil tanker company posted revenue of $59.1 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $37.7 million, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $40.7 million.
