BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) _ Digimarc Corp. (DMRC) on Wednesday reported a loss of $19.3 million in its fourth quarter.

The Beaverton, Oregon-based company said it had a loss of $1.27 per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 51 cents per share.

The online marketing company posted revenue of $5.6 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $44 million, or $3.41 per share. Revenue was reported as $24 million.

Digimarc shares have decreased 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $42.09, a rise of 49% in the last 12 months.
