Digiworld : Fujitsu collaborates with Digiworld, introducing a series of high-end notebooks

Ho Chi Minh City, June 14, 2017- Fujitsu announced Digiworld Corporation ('DGW') to be its strategic partner being responsible for distributing Fujitsu notebooks in Vietnam.

On this occasion, Fujitsu from Japan launched a series of new high-end notebooks for enterprises, business professionals with 'Takumi' spirit and proprietary highly reliable biometric authentication system based on palm vein pattern recognition technology.

In this launching, products are all integrated the latest Intel® Core ™ i7 Processor. Main products include the ultra-mobile notebooks of Lifebook U-series: Fujitsu Lifebook U937 & Fujitsu Lifebook U747. The common highlights of Lifebook U-series are the ultimate security feature, extreme lightweight, ultra-slim, extending productivity but reducing power consumption and heat dissipation. The product has individual classy style and is suitable for business professionals who are always on the move.

Both Fujitsu Lifebook U937 & Fujitsu Lifebook U747 are made in Japan, embedded palm vein - Fujitsu's proprietary security feature for high-end notebooks. This technology validates by scanning the pattern of blood veins in the palm of user with an error rate only 0.00001%, the possibility of faking is completely impossible. Scanning is performed by using infrared light on a palm and absorbing oxidized erythrocytes, extracting the vein pattern in the sensor device as black lines. Then the software compares it against patterns already stored in the database to verify. With 'Palm Vein' technology, customers are absolutely assured of notebook's security feature.

Besides integrating high-grade security technology, Lifebook U937 & Lifebook U747 are prioritized with optimized design for the 'Takumi' philosophy, which means 'artisan' in Japanese. The high productivity Lifebook U747 is suitable for business users. The product has a 14-inch FHD anti-glare display, light weight of only 1.4 kg, a remarkably slim 19 mm. In Vietnam, the product is equipped with Intel® Core™ i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SATA M.2 SED SSD (SED / Opal2.0). The Opal 2.0 SED drive improves security for data storage, protecting data from being stolen. The drive has self-encrypting drives (SED) and can erase all data as needed.
