On this occasion, Fujitsu from Japan launched a series of new high-end notebooks for enterprises, business professionals with 'Takumi' spirit and proprietary highly reliable biometric authentication system based on palm vein pattern recognition technology.

Main products include the ultra-mobile notebooks of Lifebook U-series: Fujitsu Lifebook U937 & Fujitsu Lifebook U747. Both Fujitsu Lifebook U937 & Fujitsu Lifebook U747 are made in Japan, embedded palm vein - Fujitsu's proprietary security feature for high-end notebooks. This technology validates by scanning the pattern of blood veins in the palm of user with an error rate only 0.00001%, the possibility of faking is completely impossible. Scanning is performed by using infrared light on a palm and absorbing oxidized erythrocytes, extracting the vein pattern in the sensor device as black lines. Then the software compares it against patterns already stored in the database to verify. With 'Palm Vein' technology, customers are absolutely assured of notebook's security feature.

Besides integrating high-grade security technology, Lifebook U937 & Lifebook U747 are prioritized with optimized design for the 'Takumi' philosophy, which means 'artisan' in Japanese.
