Last October, Digiworld joined the seminar 'Investment Opportunities in Vietnam's stock market' held in Tokyo and Saitama cities of Japan, initially approached Japanese investors.

'Investment Opportunities in Vietnam's stock market' Seminar

This seminar was co-organized by Musashi Securities (Japan) and Ho Chi Minh Securities (Vietnam). Digiworld took part in the seminar as a representative from Vietnamese listed firms.

At the seminar, Mr. Yoshitaka Harada, Management director of Musashi Securities shared his impression on Vietnam's society, culture and people during his trip to Vietnam. Besides, Vietnam's economic issues, macroeconomic policies and investment opportunities in Vietnam were presented by Ho Chi Minh Securities' representative. Digiworld attracted Japanese investors with distinct competitive advantages of the Market Expansion Services and the 'Blue Ocean' strategy.

Digiworld's representative made presentation at the seminar

Also at these seminars, Digiworld had an opportunity to meet and discuss with Capital Asset Management (CAM), a fund management company specialized in Southeast Asia market, especially Vietnam. One of CAM's investment criteria is to invest in Vietnamese mid-cap companies with potential and rapid growth. Therefore, the representative of this organization was quite excited by the strategies that Digiworld are pursuing. CAM's representative expressed his interest to visit Digiworld during the next business trip to Vietnam.

With young population, growing consumer economy, and opportunity from preferential policies to attract foreign investment, Vietnam's stock market has truly created strong impression to Japanese investors. This is an important initial step, contributing to long-term cooperation between Japan - Vietnam in general and attracting Japanese indirect investment into Vietnam.

Japanese individual investors are mostly middle - upper class, retired and wealthy. They are usually long-term investors. Therefore, Digiworld expects new opportunities for the company and its shareholders from potential future collaboration with Japanese business and investment communities.
