GILDEMEISTER with good trade fair results
Record EMO 2013 for Bielefeld-based group

Bielefeld. GILDEMEISTER takes positive stock of the EMO in Hanover. With order intake of € 276.4 million and 1,137 products sold, DMG MORI SEIKI achieved a record figure at the leading trade fair for machine tools.

At the EMO in Hanover, which ended on Saturday evening, DMG MORI SEIKI exhibited in Hall 2 as the largest exhibitor. Around 145,000 international trade visitors attended the most important trade fair worldwide for machine tools. The trade visitors' main interest focused on CELOS - from the idea to the finished product, the new joint machine design and some 18 world premieres. A total of 95 high-tech exhibits show that the cooperation partners are at the forefront of innovations in building cutting machine tools.

As a result of the EMO 2013, GILDEMEISTER posted 1,137 products sold at a value of € 276.4 million. A strong boost to post-trade fair business will provide by 6,083 new offers; this represents, compared to EMO 2011, an increase of 6%. The orders placed at this year's EMO confirm the growing demand for machine tools overall. The business figures for the third quarter 2013 will be published by GILDEMEISTER on 29 October.
