Dominion Energy Inc. said profit and revenue fell for the fourth quarter.
The utility company on Friday reported net income of $682 million, down from $1 billion in the comparable quarter a year ago. Earnings were 82 cents a share, down from $1.21 a share in the prior year.
Operating earnings were 81 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet were looking for 80 cents a share.
Operating revenue fell to $3.52 billion from $3.9 billion. Analysts were targeting $3.68 billion.
The company said it expects 2021 operating earnings of $3.70 a share to $4 a share and first-quarter operating earnings of $1 a share to $1.15 a share.
