Dye & Durham Ltd. said Monday that it has acquired the financial solutions business and other assets from Telus Corp. for 500 million Canadian dollars, the equivalent of US$389.3 million.
The Canadian cloud-based software and solutions company for the legal and financial services sectors said the acquisition adds scale within its Canadian business and expands its capacity by adding a large non-bank payment platform.
"This transaction is consistent with our growth strategy, adds significant scale within our current Canadian business, and is very well suited for our proven 'acquire and integrate' playbook," Chief Executive Matt Proud said.
