Dynasty Ceramic Public Company Limited reported consolidated and parent earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2016. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company's revenue was THB 1.81 billion compared with THB 1.83 billion a year ago. Profit before income tax was THB 0.45 billion compared with THB 0.46 billion a year ago. Profit attributable to the company's shareholders was THB 0.36 billion or THB 0.055 per basic share compared with THB 0.37 billion or THB 0.056 per basic share a year ago.
For the six months, on consolidated basis, the company's revenue was THB 3.89 billion compared with THB 3.86 billion a year ago. Profit before income tax was THB 0.99 billion compared with THB 0.94 billion a year ago. Profit attributable to the company's shareholders was THB 0.8 billion or THB 0.122 per basic share compared with THB 0.75 billion or THB 0.115 per basic share a year ago.
For the quarter, on parent basis, the company's revenue was THB 1.81 billion compared with THB 1.83 billion a year ago. Profit before income tax was THB 0.44 billion compared with THB 0.43 billion a year ago. Profit attributable to the company's shareholders was THB 0.35 billion or THB 0.054 per basic share compared with THB 0.34 billion or THB 0.052 per basic share a year ago.
For the six months, on parent basis, the company's revenue was THB 3.89 billion compared with THB 3.86 billion a year ago. Profit before income tax was THB 0.99 billion compared with THB 0.88 billion a year ago. Profit attributable to the company's shareholders was THB 0.8 billion or THB 0.122 per basic share compared with THB 0.7 billion or THB 0.107 per basic share a year ago.
Dynasty Ceramic Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company, which is principally engaged in the manufacturing and selling of ceramic wall and floor tiles, together with space rental and providing utilities service. The Company purchases the ceramic floor, wall and Tile grout from Tile Top Industry Public Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the Company. The Company also purchases the ceramic floor and wall from The Royal Ceramic Industry Public Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the Company. The Company orders other related products, such as Tile grout, Tile adhesive, Corner-trim for sale. The ceramic tiles produced by the Company and its subsidiaries comprise under the trademark Dynasty, Tile Top, Jaguar, Value, Mustang, Chicken, Birdie, Ducky, Swan, M, Cosmo and RCI. It distributes tiles through outlets, more than 200 outlets, which are its outlets. It owns one factory and other three factories of subsidiary company is located in Nong Khae district, Saraburi province.
