Earth Chemical Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the quarter ended June 30, 2016. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, net sales were ¥96,410 million compared to ¥93,516 million for the last year. Operating income was ¥11,523 million compared to ¥10,991 million for the last year. Ordinary income was ¥11,488 million compared to ¥11,265 million for the last year. Profit attributable to owners of parent was ¥7,118 million compared to ¥6,597 million for the last year. Basic net income per share was ¥352.48 compared to ¥326.67 for the last year.
For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2016, the company expects net sales of ¥170,000 million, operating income of ¥5,100 million, ordinary income of ¥5,900 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥3,000 million or ¥148.55 per share.
