For the year, the company reported net sales of ¥181,104 million against ¥179,738 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥1,036 million against ¥4,456 million a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of parent of ¥142 million against profit of ¥2,205 million. Basic loss per share of ¥7.06 against basic earnings per share of ¥109.20 a year ago.

This segment also provides drugs for infectious disease control, agricultural and animal husbandry, as well as provision of raw materials for overseas. The Comprehensive Environmental Hygiene segment is engaged in provision of environmental hygiene services for food and medicine factories, and provision of related consulting services.
