Earth Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the period ended June 30, 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 101,062 million as compared to JPY 99,709 million for the same period last year. Operating profit was JPY 6,494 million as compared to JPY 9,670 million for the same period last year. Ordinary profit was JPY 6,696 million as compared to JPY 9,865 million for the same period last year. Profit attributable to owners of the parent was JPY 4,044 million as compared to JPY 6,252 million for the same period last year. Basic earnings per share was JPY 200.17 as compared to JPY 309.60 for the same period last year.
For the period ending December 31, 2018, the company expects net sales of JPY 190,000 million, operating profit of JPY 6,000 million, ordinary profit of JPY 6,400 million, profit attributable to owners of the parent was JPY 3,000 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 148.54.

The Household Products segment is engaged in manufacturing, sales, import and export of household insecticides, garden products, pet supplies, household insecticides, including mouth washes, denture related supplies, tooth brushing products, bathing agents, deodorant fragrances. This segment also provides drugs for infectious disease control, agricultural and animal husbandry, as well as provision of raw materials for overseas. The Comprehensive Environmental Hygiene segment is engaged in provision of environmental hygiene services for food and medicine factories, and provision of related consulting services. The other business engages in environmental hygiene management work, including insect and rat control, cleaning and disinfection restaurants and office buildings.
