Easyjet has had a tumultuous few months but it at least saw a decent rebound at the end of last week as new, more liberal travel restrictions were announced in the UK. But Michael Hewson, chief markets analyst at CMC Markets, reckons there's "still a long way to go" before we start writing recovery stories. Indeed Hewson thinks Easyjet's recent cash call. Could be a sign of things to come. IAG had a similar end of week bounce, but Hewson reckons "the absence of a return to the transatlantic and Asia business routes that IAG relies on (raises) the question as to whether other airlines may have to follow the Easyjet route." Investors will hope for more rapid progress on re-opening the UK-US corridor
