Eaton Corp. Thursday said it named Thomas Okray executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective April 1, plucking the executive from W.W. Grainger Inc.

The Dublin-based power-management company said Mr. Okray succeeds Richard Fearon, who is retiring as vice chairman and chief financial and planning officer at the end of March.

W.W. Grainger said Mr. Okray, who has been senior vice president and chief financial officer since April 2018, will remain through the end of the year to assist with the transition.

The Lake Forest, Ill., supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products said Robert O'Keef, currently vice president and treasurer, will become interim chief financial officer on Jan. 1.
