Eclat Textile Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 7,202.393 million compared to TWD 6,523.147 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,496.736 million compared to TWD 1,286.117 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,191.920 million compared to TWD 1,036.360 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 4.35 compared to TWD 3.78 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 20,386.017 million compared to TWD 20,024.727 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 3,994.330 million compared to TWD 3,801.307 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3,163.164 million compared to TWD 3,137.084 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 11.54 compared to TWD 11.44 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 11.53 compared to TWD 11.43 a year ago.
Eclat Textile Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the garments and fabrics business. The Companyâs primary products include active wear, performance wear, ready to wear, seamless wear, flexible knit fabrics, organic cotton fabrics, lyocell fiber fabrics, rayon fiber fabrics, polymer fiber fabrics, anti-bacterial fabrics and others. Its fabrics are mainly used in the production of sportswear, casual garments, underwear and swimsuits. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Knitted Fabrics segment is mainly engaged in the production and sale of knitted fabrics. The Ready-made Garments segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of garments. The Company mainly operates its business in Taiwan, the Americas and other Asian markets.
