Eclat Textile Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 7,374.600 million compared to TWD 7,202.393 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,615.396 million compared to TWD 1,496.736 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,252.826 million compared to TWD 1,191.920 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 4.56 compared to TWD 4.35 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 18,849.824 million compared to TWD 20,386.017 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 3,432.628 million compared to TWD 3,994.330 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,659.794 million compared to TWD 3,163.164 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 9.69 compared to TWD 11.54 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 9.69 compared to TWD 11.53 a year ago.
Eclat Textile Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the garments and fabrics business. The Companyâs primary products include active wear, performance wear, ready to wear, seamless wear, flexible knit fabrics, organic cotton fabrics, lyocell fiber fabrics, rayon fiber fabrics, polymer fiber fabrics, anti-bacterial fabrics and others. Its fabrics are mainly used in the production of sportswear, casual garments, underwear and swimsuits. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Knitted Fabrics segment is mainly engaged in the production and sale of knitted fabrics. The Ready-made Garments segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of garments. The Company mainly operates its business in Taiwan, the Americas and other Asian markets.
