Eclat Textile Corporation Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 6,244.297 million compared to TWD 6,580.169 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,108.937 million compared to TWD 1,165.128 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 900.934 million compared to TWD 891.687 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.28 compared to TWD 3.25 a year ago.
Eclat Textile Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the garments and fabrics business. The Companyâs primary products include active wear, performance wear, ready to wear, seamless wear, flexible knit fabrics, organic cotton fabrics, lyocell fiber fabrics, rayon fiber fabrics, polymer fiber fabrics, anti-bacterial fabrics and others. Its fabrics are mainly used in the production of sportswear, casual garments, underwear and swimsuits. The Company mainly operates through two business segments. The Knitted Fabrics segment is mainly engaged in the production and sale of knitted fabrics. The Ready-made Garments segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of garments. The Company mainly operates its business in Taiwan, the Americas and other Asian markets.
