ECR Minerals PLC - gold exploration and development company focused on Australia - Finds up to 7.29 grams of gold per tonne from the BBMDD004 drillhole at Blue Moon prospect in Victoria, Australia. Says drilling continues with three out of a planned four-hole programme completed to date with "samples awaiting results pending".

ECR Chief Executive Officer Andrew Haythorpe says on Thursday: "I am pleased to report an encouraging grade from the first Blue Moon drill hole of the 2022 Blue Moon campaign. The programme has been designed to test for mineralised continuity of the Blue Moon gold bearing structure and we're very encouraged by what we've seen so far."

ECR Minerals has 100% ownership of the Bailieston project, which contains the gold prospects known as HR3, Cherry Tree, Blue Moon and Black Cat. In October, the company found up to 47.75 grammes of gold per tonne in hole CSD001 at Creswick, also located in Victoria.

Current stock price: 1.07 pence each, down 0.3% on Friday in London
