Edoardos Martin SAB de CV is a Mexico-based holding company principally engaged in the textile industry. The Company's activities are structured in two business areas: Velvet, which manufactures, distributes and sells velvet textiles used in the production of furniture upholstery, curtains, accessories and handicrafts, and Edoardos, which is involved in the design and sale of children's, women's and men's casual apparel under the Edoardos brand. In addition, the Company operates a network of 88 stores aimed at the retail and wholesale trade. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as JB Martin SA de CV, Confecciones Martin SA de CV, Edoardo’s SA de CV, Ardedor SA and Cometika Martin SA de CV, among others, and In addition, JB Martin Company (EUA) which was its major shareholder with 34.06% of its interest. In June 2013, the Company's subsidiary, Ardecor SA, has left the Group.
