EDP - ENERGIAS DO BRASIL S.A. ADDITIONAL ACQUISITION OF PREFERRED SHARES FROM CELESC
São Paulo, November 07, 2018 - EDP - Energias do Brasil S.A. ("EDP" or "Company") (B3: ENBR3), announces to its shareholders and the market in general that acquired additional preferred shares ("PNs") issued by Centrais Elétricas de Santa Catarina S.A. - Celesc ("CELESC") (B3: CLSC4).
The total amount acquired was 1,518,000 PNs at the average price of R$ 41.93 (forty-one reais, ninety-three cents) per share, by the amount of R$ 63,653,498.00 (sixty-three million, six hundred and fifty-three thousand, four hundred and ninety-eight reais).
With this transaction, EDP owns 3,945,820 PNs, added by 5,140,868 common shares (ONs), representing 23.56% of the total shares issued by CELESC.
This transaction emphasizes the partnership and the commitment with CELESC.
