Conclusion of EDP PCH and Santa Fé sale

São Paulo, December 21st, 2018 - EDP - Energias do Brasil S.A. ("EDP" or "Company") (B3: ENBR3), hereby announces to its shareholders and the market that on this day, following the Notice to the Market published on October 25, 2018, that was concluded the sale of EDP Pequenas Centrais Hidrelétricas S.A. ("EDP PCH"), consisting of seven small hydropower plants, and Santa Fé Energia S.A. ("Santa Fé") to Statkraft Energias Renováveis S.A.. EDP PCH, together with Santa Fé, totalizes 131.9 MW of installed capacity and 68.8 MW of physical guarantee.

The total amount of the transaction received by EDP on this date is R$ 600.8 million, reflecting the adjustments between signing and closing dates, subject to possible further adjustments and post-closing obligations common to this type of transaction.

The sale of small hydro power plants started with the sale of Pantanal Energética Ltda. and is in line with the strategy of divesting in non-core assets, maintaining the Company's focus on medium-sized plants with installed capacities between 100MW and 1,000 MW.
