Due to the company's good practices, EDPR not only has achieved the certification, but it has also increased the percentages obtained based on the results after the assessment.
For the first time, EDPR achieves certification in Brazil, thus extending to a new continent.
These awards recognize the company's ability to offer a transparent and open working environment as well as a corporate culture where people come first.
EDP Renewables (Euronext: EDPR), the world's fourth largest renewable energy producer, receives the Top Employer Europe 2022 recognition for the fourth consecutive year due to its good practices in Human Resources. This year, for the first time, Brazil achieves the certification together with the countries of the European continent.
In addition to the global certification, awarded to companies that have been certified in at least five European countries, EDPR has achieved for the fifth consecutive year the recognition as "Top Employer" in Spain, for the fourth year in Portugal, France and Italy, for the third year in Poland, and for the second year in Romania. With the incorporation of Brazil for the first time, the company continues to advance in its commitment by extending to a new continent.
These awards recognize EDPR's ability to offer a transparent and open working environment, as well as a corporate culture that focuses on people as a priority. Therefore, in this edition, the percentages obtained have increased compared to last year, reflecting that the organization continues to demonstrate its ability to improve and evolve towards excellence.
Duarte Bello, COO for Europe and Latin America, highlights: "We are proud to receive once again this year the prestigious Top Employer Europe certification, which demonstrates the effort and commitment of all the people who take part in the company and who contribute to making us a benchmark in this field. At EDPR, people are at the core of our business strategy, where the professional and personal development of its employees is encouraged and where the latest trends are incorporated to ensure the wellbeing of all the team who make up the company. This is why we have successfully revalidated this certification for the fourth consecutive year and added Brazil to the list of countries".
EDPR has managed to maintain its qualification by successfully meeting the demanding standards set by the Top Employers Institute in its global HR Best Practices Survey.
